Starting as a staff songwriter in Nashville, TN, Mr. Murray went on to become a major label recording artist, co-founder of the seminal indie rock label Via Records and publisher of the award-winning magazine -The Syndicate. He co-founded 456 Entertainment in New York City with Carson Daly, where he began developing unique digital distribution and marketing strategies. As one of the faces of the digital music revolution, Mr. Murray developed a reputation as an outside-the-box thinker with a heart for empowering creators to harness the direct relationship they have with their fans. During the last ten years, he has increasingly turned his attention back to his first love - film and television. His social television venture, AmplifierTV, generated nearly two billion views of original content for major media outlets like MTV, Viacom, Paramount, Sony and Universal; brands like Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group, Converse and Guitar Center; and celebrities like Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber and Kevin Hart. These efforts, which began in 2007, form the underlying business philosophies and technological solutions of BNGN.
