Nicholas Dekker gets people to call him “Dr. Breakfast” because he really loves breakfast and has a Ph.D. Nick is a food/travel writer based in Columbus, writing his award-winning blog Breakfast With Nick since 2007, where he documents his journeys in exploring breakfast, coffee, donuts, beer, the arts, family travel, and much more. Nick also writes for Columbus Alive, the Columbus Dispatch, Experience Columbus, TourismOhio, Columbus Monthly, and many other publications, and leads culinary tours for Columbus Food Adventures. For his grown up job he works on the marketing team of the Greater Columbus Arts Council.
