Since joining Root almost two years ago, Lauren has scaled the product team from the ground up. Prior to Root, she held multiple positions at Nationwide Insurance spanning innovation, strategy, and enterprise risk and capital management. She began her career in internal audit at MGM Resorts International where she spent six years leading audit teams in the Sarbanes-Oxley, operational, and gaming compliance space. Lauren has a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the College of Wooster and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
