Jake Mendel is the Director of SVB's Startup Banking Crypto team, a specialized commercial banking practice that supports venture-backed pre-seed and seed-stage web3 companies across the US. SVB is the premier bank for the venture ecosystem, counting the majority of venture-backed companies and venture funds as their clients.
Prior to launching the Startup Banking Crypto team, Jake led Relationship Management for SVB's Startup Banking team in New York City. Before his 5 years at SVB, he was a cofounder of an early-stage biotech company developing oncology therapeutics.
